Privacy Policy

CVR Pro-Audio Nigeria, CVR Place, 198 Babs Animashaun Road, by Bode Thomas Junction, Surulere, Lagos, is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. We handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number and state.
• Delivery addresses you save for checkout.
• Orders: the products you buy, amounts, delivery details and payment status.
• Quote requests and messages: your name, phone, email, state, the product or system you're interested in, venue details and your message.
• Payment confirmation from Paystack, such as the payment reference and method (card, transfer or USSD). We never receive or store your full card details.

• To process and deliver your orders, and keep you updated about them (performance of a contract).
• To respond to your quote requests and enquiries (your request, and our legitimate interest in serving you).
• To keep records required by Nigerian tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
• To keep the website secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help run this website:

• Paystack, to process payments.
• Delivery partners, who receive only what they need to deliver your order.

Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows for international transfers.

• Sign-in cookies keep you logged in securely.
• Your cart is saved in your browser so it survives a page reload.
• Your light or dark theme choice, and whether you have already seen the intro animation.

We keep account details while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires. Quote requests are kept while they are useful for following up, then deleted.

Under the NDPA, you can:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
• ask us to correct or delete it,
• object to or restrict how we use it,
• ask for your data in a portable format,
• withdraw any consent you have given.

You can update your name, phone and addresses yourself in My account. For anything else, email grootsoundstores@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Data is encrypted in transit, access to customer records is restricted to authorised staff, and each customer can only see their own account, orders and requests.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
